It is time for a change of industries
I am proud to announce that starting January 1st next year, I will be taking on the role of Chief Digital Officer at Skanska Norway and Director in charge of Skanska Digital.
As a leading property development and construction company, Skanska has an outspoken ambition to become an industry leader in innovation and sustainability, and in order to meet those ambitions, digital technologies will play an integral part. The foundation is already in place, and the next phase will consist of realizing the true potential in the intersection between the physical world and the digital.
I firmly believe that the next phase of digital transformation will be within traditional industries, where construction and property development is one of the industry segments that have the biggest potential. Combined with the fact that Skanska has set a long-term target to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2045 in an industry that accounts for 36 percent of global climate gas emissions, taking on this role gives me both passion and purpose.
Congratulations on the new job. Supports that there will be major changes in industry and construction in the future related to the digital shift and sustainability.
